David is a familiar face to many in the construction industry, holding many years of experience at SIG, Celsa and CRH. David began his career after graduating in Construction Management from Northumbria University, working initially in the manufacturing and packaging industry supplying construction, to managing the Construction Accessories arm of SIG PLC, followed by Regional, Divisional, and multi-brand Sales and Marketing Director roles in the business.

After a three-year sabbatical as Managing Director in packaging and distribution, David returned to SIG in 2020 as Divisional Managing Director, and finally Managing Director of the Construction Accessories and Specialist Markets divisions in 2022.

Under David’s leadership SIG Construction Accessories has grown from strength to strength, playing a key role in the UK’s infrastructure ambitions.

Ian’s almost 25-year career at SIG has been-focused on Construction Accessories, going back to 1998 as Branch Director of our Manchester SIG Construction Accessories branch, working up to Regional Director of SIG Construction Accessories.

Having this experience in the industry means Ian’s product and supplier knowledge is second-to-none, with long-standing relationships with major players in the Construction Accessories manufacturing arena.

Ben has over 23 years experience in the construction industry with excellent technical knowledge of complex product systems.

Following 12 years at Ancon (Leviat) as Technical Sales Manager, Ben joined SIG’s Northern Division and delivered significant growth, leading to a national position concentrating on Masonry.

As Strategic Masonry Director Ben oversees our product portfolio and innovation, developing our sales and technical offering in a highly competitive and exciting market.

Jason is an experienced National Technical Manager with expertise across range of sectors and industries in Account Management, Business Development, Sales, Technical Sales and Project Management.

Jason has extensive operational experience in Account Management, Business Development and Sales including preparing specifications and project proposals in both public and private sectors often involving resource challenges, complexity, time challenges and adapting – to deliver – to a broad variety of requirements and demands.

Richard has been with SIG for the past 9 years bringing over 30 years’ experience within the construction industry.

An experienced Business Development Manager and Brand Manager with a number of roles within SIG, Richard is skilled in negotiation and passionate about customer service.

Kara has been with SIG for over 7 years gaining a wealth of experience in account management, business development and technical sales.

Starting in the business within the Specialist Markets Division, quickly moving into a Modular Building Specialist role covering fire thermal and acoustics, she then progressed into the Infrastructure Team gaining more knowledge and experience within this sector.

For the past 3 years Kara has been the HS2 National Project Manager developing and ensuring that all aspects of the business are offered in a professional way in line with our major customers’ expectations.
